On to Sacsaywaman, known as the royal house of the sun, and then finishing at Huaca de Pantiacolla, showing the megalithic construction and purification practices of this ancient civilisation.

THE Q’ESWACHAKA BRIDGE TOUR

A captivating one-day tour from Cusco to the awe-inspiring Q’eswachaka Bridge, the last remaining Inca Hanging Bridge spanning the Apurímac River at 3,600 meters above sea level.
Leaving early morning, our journey through the South Valley includes a scenic stop at Combapata Viewpoint and the Mini Volcano of Los Pabellones.
When you arrive at Q'ewe district you can see the ancient bridge’s remarkable construction.
Then explore the surrounding area, including the Mosoc Llaqta, before venturing through the picturesque Four Lagoons circuit.
There is a delicious buffet lunch in Cusipata before returning to Cusco.
On the 2nd Sunday of June we join in and see the annual renewal ritual, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Departing from your Cusco hotel at 4:30am, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Mollepata, where a delicious breakfast is waiting.
Stock up on water and snacks before continuing for another hour to Soraypampa, where you see the breathtaking vistas of Apu Salkantay and Humantay Mountains.
At an altitude of 4,200 meters, you will prepare for a 2-hour trek to the stunning Lake Humantay. While the path is steep, our small group size ensures personalised attention from your guide, allowing you to enjoy every moment of the hike.
Take in the awe-inspiring views of the lake and then on again for a short climb for a panoramic view.
Your decent will take about an hour to Soraypampa, where our mini bus will be waiting to take you back to Mollepata for a authentic local lunch.
We will return to Cusco approximately 6:00 p.m. Tired, but very happy!
